FABRICS
Our sustainable fabrics are derived from eco-friendly resources.
This includes sustainably grown fiber crops, biodegradable fabrics, low environmental impact production, and recycled materials.
Rooted Silky Viscose Prints
Viscose is a semi-synthetic fabric made from renewable plants.
Made from wood pulp, viscose is a cellulosic fabric similar to cotton and linen. Although the fabric is plant-derived, the production process does include soaking the cellulose material derived from the tree pulp in chemicals, which results in viscose being classified as a semi-synthetic fabric. But do not worry, viscose is still totally biodegradable. Our printed viscose fabric is ultra-soft, smooth, and silky.
Digitally printed fabrics require significantly less water to create the colorful designs as opposed to using dye. Less water also means less runoff of toxic chemicals. Our unique and playful prints are designed in Brooklyn and come to fruition in India.
Fresh Leaf Linen Prints
Linen is a fabric made from the flax plant.
Flax fibers are one of the most sustainable raw materials that exist. The plant does not require additional irrigation, rainwater is sufficient for growth. In addition, flax hardly needs any pesticides and fertilizers. Linen fabric is also fully biodegradable.

Nestable Organic Cotton Prints
Growing conventional cotton requires A LOT of water and pesticides, which results in a negative impact on the environment and the people who grow it.
This is why choosing organic cotton is actually really important. Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides. Generally, chemical-free land results in soil that is fertile for longer and thus, increases the cotton commodity lifespan so the farmers benefit too.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an organization working to ensure proper labeling and covers everything from the soil conditions to the distribution of textiles.
We guarantee our Organic Cotton is GOTS certified so shop away knowing that your purchase has a good environmental and social impact.
Fresh Leaf Linen
Linen is a fabric made from the flax plant.
Flax fibers are one of the most sustainable raw materials that exist. The plant does not require additional irrigation, rainwater is sufficient for growth. In addition, flax hardly needs any pesticides and fertilizers.
We source our Fresh Leaf Linen from one of the world’s leading suppliers based out of Belgium. This region is known for cultivating a strong flax fiber due to the regularly alternating conditions between sun and rain, an ideal climate and soil for growth.
Our supplier is committed to using every part of the plant and aims for “a no-waste policy”. Linen fabric is also fully biodegradable.
Rooted Silky Modal
Modal is a bio-based fabric made from spinning reconstructed beech-tree pulp.
Beech trees do not require much water to grow and are a regenerative plant which makes modal a good eco-friendly material. Although the fabric is plant-derived, the production process does include soaking the cellulose material derived from the beech tree pulp in chemicals, which results in modal being classified as a semi-synthetic fabric. But do not worry, modal is still totally biodegradable.
Our modal fabric is ultra soft, smooth, and silky because it is 10% silk. The silk manufacturing process can be harmonious and low impact. Silkworms live off of mulberry trees; they feed on the leaves and in turn the farmers can feed on the worms.
