4. Damn Good Dress Tutorial – Mark Your Notches

Using a water soluble pencil or your preferred tool‭, ‬mark your notches‭ & ‬dots based off of your pattern‭. ‬Remember to flip your pattern piece to the back side when marking your back layer cut piece‭.‬

Helpful tip‭: ‬If you cut out your notches before pinning and cutting your fabric‭, ‬you can mark them easily from both the front and back of your pattern piece without moving the paper‭. ‬This will give you the most exact location of your notch on your fabric‭.‬
